King Arthur Baking Company Adjustable Cake Strips conduct heat evenly to prevent cakes from doming, cracking, and overbaking. They heat pans evenly so cakes bake evenly, without cracking and doming, and are easy to frost, decorate, and stack without shaving away the top surface. The set includes 2 bands to bake 2 cakes at once. Their adjustable Velcro closure is easy to attach for a snug fit around straight-sided cake pans (8 and 9-inch round) and are easy to remove. Simply soak the strips for 15 minutes in water then squeeze out any excess. Secure them around the cake pan before filling it with batter. Allow bands to cool completely before removing them from the pan. Made from polyester, cotton, and Velcro, King Arthur Baking Company Adjustable Cake Strips are strong, durable, reusable, heat safe (to 400-degrees Fahrenheit), and wipe clean as needed.
