Tawny port is characterized by its golden amber color with aromas of nuts which, with age, are refined, gaining complexity, elegance and finesse. Tawnies are made with blends of various years, peacefully aged in 650 liter casks. Aged in oak barrels, it presents an orange-red color with hints of evolution. Tawny is a 3 to 5 year old blend obtained by blending wines aged in port wine casks It can be served as an aperitif or with melon. tomatoes filled with fresh cheese and smoked salmon, desserts that are not overly sweet or with cheeses.
