This system has the ability to tackle more precise ironing needs, unlike rotary iron, which excel with linens and sheets. You have the option of purchasing the standard B 3312 model, or you can purchase the B 3847 model with additional features.

To freshen up, or de-wrinkle clothing, the Miele Fashion Master features 3.5 bars of steam pressure with the B 3312 system, and 4 bars of steam pressure with the B 3847. Steam comes out of the Non-stick honeycomb sole plate of the iron. The design of this soleplate allow the iron to glide effortlessly along your garments.

With standard ironing boards most times you need to flip your garment over to iron the other side. The in-board fan on either Miele Fashion Master draws steam though your fabrics so both sides are being ironed at once, without needing to flip your garment over. If you reverse the fan setting, you can create a cushion for your garment to ride on. This is useful when you have garments with delicate embroidery or raised graphics because it helps avoid shiny spots, damage to print, and pressure marks. An additional feature on B 3847 is the two-speed fan setting

Making sure the user is comfortable was an important design aspect with the Miele Fashion Master. Ironing at the proper height puts less stress on the user, making it easier to use for longer stretches of time. This iron offers variable height adjustment levels to accommodate all users.

If you accidentally leave the Miele Fashion master on, there is no need to worry because this machine is equipped with an automatic shut off. In the event the iron is left on for more than a few hours, it will automatically turn itself off.

A digital display on the Fashion master shows a single row of text that will give you prompts during set-up and descaling. Descaling is done automatically to help prevent scale build up, and it is done without the use of harsh chemicals.
