Hygrophila Difformis 1-2-Grow

Originating from Asia Hygrophila Difformis is a beautiful, undemanding stem plant, perfect for any aquarium. Often referred to as Water Wisteria, stems grow to 20-30cm tall and 6-12cm wide. An ideal plant for beginners, Hygrophila Difformis helps create balance in an aquarium from the start. Its rapid growth helps prevent algae as the plant absorbs a large amount of excess nutrients from the water. Any shortage of micro-nutrients leads to pale leaves, which may be an indication that the aquarium needs fertiliser. In large aquariums its lobed leaves can create a distinctive group.

• Carefully remove the plant from the cup and rinse off the growing media.
• Split the plant as required into 6-8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors.
• Plant portions into the substrate using tweezers. Then watch them grow!
