Frank Lloyd Wright Midway Garden Sprite 66 Inches Tall

This is a full-scale reproduction of the Midway Gardens Sprite, the result of a collaboration between Frank Lloyd Wright and Alfonso Inanelli. The Midway Gardens was built from 1913-1914 as a city block sized entertainment complex in downtown Chicago. These Sprites were among many scultural objects that sat atop the exterior walls. Cast in reconstituted stone. Dimensions: 66"H. Weight: 300 lbs. Due to the heavy weight of this item, it must ship by truck and CANNOT be returned. This dry cast stone has been around for centuries and has proven to be a quality, durable and most attractive alternative to other materials. The nature of this stone gives it a number of advantages for use in garden and architectural applications. The base dimensions are approximately 14” from side to side and 11.5” from front to back. There is a 1” diameter hole in bottom about 12” deep to place over a piece of rebar if possible for stability if desired. We recommend 5/8” rebar so that you have a little wiggle room to center the sprite.
