Conflicted Reality: My Paranormal Journey

Throughout the course of my life, I’ve witnessed many strange and unexplainable activities. Logically, these things should not be possible. But to a person that has seen, heard, and felt what should not be there, it is staggeringly real.At 5 years old, I saw my first apparition in my childhood home and began watching the “shadows” not long after. Throughout my life, experiences have continued with my fear slowly transitioning to more brazen attempts to interact with the other side. Every house that we have lived in has been riddled with interestingly odd, and sometimes frightening paranormal activity. With shadow people, apparitions, and disembodied voices lurking around every corner, I thought it was my burden alone to carry until the birth of my girls. When they both started seeing the same “shadows”, my curiosity to understand quickly conflicted with my maternal desire to protect.Everywhere we go, spirits seem to follow.Did I unknowingly sign my family up for paranormal activities as a child?
