The 2026 Burton Rewind Spray Paint was designed to be a unisex hard charging "soft" board that allows you to step up your game, pushing your progression into overdrive and applying your park game to the whole mountain. Don't be fooled by it's buttery soft flex, the Rewind is packed full of tech! Featuring Off-Axis to create a traditional stance better suited to park riders, with an ultra thin core construction to maintain lightness yet bulked out with soft EVA padding to absorb vibrations and smoothen out your ride for better stability. The Rewind is super easy to press and pop and super fun for any level of snowboarder looking to step their game up.

Board Type: Freestyle

Park 7/10
All Mountain 7/10
Powder 4/10

Freestyle snowboards are built for park riders and those who love performing tricks on jumps, rails, and side hits.

Flex: 2.5/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Snowboards with a soft flex are forgiving, easy to control, and ideal for beginners or freestyle riders. They excel in playful manoeuvres, like park tricks and buttering, and provide a smooth ride on groomed trails or in powder.

Ability Level: Intermediate

Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.

Shape: Twin/Twin

A twin-shaped snowboard is symmetrical with an identical tip and tail, designed for equal performance riding forward or switch. It’s perfect for freestyle tricks, spins, and jumps, offering balance, stability, and control in both directions.

Twin Flex has a perfectly symmetrical design from tip to tail, delivering more balance and versatility for an effortless ride, whether you’re riding regular or switch.

Camber Type: PurePop

PurePop is an evolution of traditional camber and places subtle flat zones outside your feet to amplify pop and add a more playful feeling to the camber. Early rise tip and tail get your contact points out of the snow quicker, reducing catch and enhancing float.

Width: Standard

Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.

Inserts: The Channel

The Burton Channel forgoes the traditional mounting system and introduces a channel for your front and rear inserts. This allows you to fine-tune your stance width and gives you more freedom in your stance location. The Channel is compatible with most major binding brands, but works best with Burton EST bindings.

Board Construction

Laminate: Triax

Triax fiberglass is layered above and below the core and creates a versatile flex and consistent response for performance across all types of snowboarding.

An ultralight Carbon I-Beam backbone is added to the bottom layer of Triax fiberglass to increase pop of the snowboard.

Core: Super Fly 800G Core with Dualzone EGD and Squeezebox Low

The Super Fly 800G Core utilises two species of wood in dual-density vertical laminations of alternating softwood and hardwood to reduce weight without compromising strength or performance.

Dualzone EGD aligns the wood grain in the core along the heel and toe edge in two unbroken zones perpendicular to the rest of the core, which gives consistent edge hold and strength.

Squeezebox consists of thicker, more powerful sections combined with thinner, more flexible sections profiled throughout the core. This enhances energy transfer and makes the board snappier and more stable. Squeezebox Low is designed to promote progression, placing stiffer zones outside your feet that direct energy to the nose and tail while enabling a softer, smoother flex between the bindings, resulting in more control with less effort.

Edge: Off-Axis Frostbite Edges

Edges that extend out slightly underneath your bindings for enhanced edge hold on hardpack and ice. Off-Axis Frostbite Edges follow the Off-Axis core of the snowboard to efficiently hold your edge better.

Base: Sintered

Sintered bases are made from a durable and highly porous base material that provides added strength and wax absorption for long lasting glide.

Additional Features:

  • Infinite Ride

Burton is able to maximise pop and performance by overbuilding their boards in the factory, and then using machinery to break it down for you. This allows your board to ride the same from day one, to day 100, season after season.

  • Pro-Tip

The tip and tail of this board taper out at the points, reducing swing weight and promoting mobility.

  • Super Sap Epoxy

Super Sap is a bio-based resin that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional petroleum-based epoxies.
