AT831CH is a miniature cardioid condenser lavalier microphone designed for use with Audio-Technica wireless systems. This clip-on mic delivers crisp, full-sounding voice pickup, making it an excellent choice for presentations, broadcasts, and live performances. It also excels as an instrument microphone, particularly for acoustic guitar pickup when paired with the included AT8444 guitar adapter. The cardioid polar pattern provides excellent gain before feedback while effectively suppressing unwanted background noise, ensuring clean and clear audio in demanding environments. The AT831CH is ideal for higher SPL applications and operates on phantom power only. A 13.1-foot cable is permanently attached to the microphone, with a TA3F connector at the power module for reliable connectivity. The package includes a clothing clip, guitar adapter, remote power module, windscreen, and a protective carrying case. Manufactured in Japan, this microphone is also RoHS compliant.
