Adams Rite 4085 Header Bolt 30"- 52" for MS Deadlocks & Deadlatches

The 4085 Header Bolt provides a third locking point at the top of the door for pairs of doors when working in conjunction with an MS Pivot Bolt Lock and 4015 Threshold Bolt (sold separately) on the active leaf. Description Dimension A: 30" - 52" - Dimension A is the door height minus the cylinder height - (see diagram) Header Bolt: 1/2" x 1-1/2" [0.500 in x 1.500 in] expansion bolt with 5/8" [0.626 in] throw. Housed in 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" x 5/8" [1.500 in x 2.752 in x 0.626 in] box. Adjustment: Minor adjustment of rod length is achieved by rotating the end of the nylon rod. Strike: For header bolt, a 1/2" [0.500 in] diameter hole in metal frame is suitable. For non-metallic installation, 4005 Strike is available separately.
